Narrative Structure:
How a story is constructed.
Act 1: The set up. This is when you introduce the main characters and their situation. For example where they came from and why they are? The part for Initial characterisation.
End of Act 1: introduce a problem, or problems
Act 2: The conflict. Main part of the film. as the situation and character develops, and how they change through the duration of the film.
Act 3: The resolution. When the character realises what they have to do to solve the problem.
