Evaluation- challenge conventions

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

Our opening to our film hopefully grasps the codes and conventions of a typical superhero film with elements such like the motif of producing a super suit or outfit, I believe this is the main feature of capturing the appearance of a character but its also the symbol of what a superhero stands for. We were influenced by the short sequence in the original cat women when the audience is confronted with her making her costume. Another way that we have hopefully portrayed aspects of a classic superhero is through a dramatic and mysterious accident that would display or create there individual magical skill or super power. We conveyed this by showing short frame with infer that she has been hit by a bus but is perfectly fine which would deduce the fact that she contain ‘super human strength’ feeling no physical pain.
